Jordi Puig (Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, 1963) is a photographer and editor, residing in Lladó, in the Empordà, since 1990. His career in the publishing field began in 1991, always linked to photography. Since then, he has worked for numerous museums and institutions in Catalonia, establishing himself as a reference in heritage, landscape, and artistic creation photography.

As an editor, he has been mainly associated with Triangle Editorial and Úrsula Llibres, publishing around sixty books dedicated to photography, territory, and culture. Among his most notable titles are: Jocs i Joguets (1998), Dalí, el triangle de l’Empordà (2003), El Baix Empordà (2003), Retrats 799 (2005), Pirene Nostrum (2006), Catalunya! (2008), La Garrotxa (2011), El paisatge de la Costa Brava (2012), Barcelona, alta costura (2013), Claudi Casanovas, Ceràmiques 1975-2015 (2016), Costa Brava postals (2017) and Sant Pere de Rodes (2018), among many others.

In the creative field, he develops both exhibition and editorial projects, exploring different approaches to the image. From 2003 onwards, he also began creating portrait series, working with diverse groups through pre-arranged meetings or forming new groups based on spontaneous events and festive celebrations.

His work reflects a commitment to visual memory and the Catalan territory, with a style that combines documentary precision with a sensitive and contemporary gaze.
