He studied at the School of Mining Technical Engineers, a profession he practiced simultaneously with painting for several years.

Passionate about art from a very young age, he deeply studied the great Masters of Painting in the main museums of Europe.

In 1981, Antonio Morano founded (together with five other painters) the Lumen group, subsequently carrying out various collective and individual exhibitions, and in 1985 he definitively left his profession as a Technical Engineer to dedicate himself fully to Painting.

Works in the Alenquer Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon, Museum of Art of the Pérez Simón Foundation, Mexico City. Official College of Industrial Engineers. Embassy of Greece. Official College of Pharmacists. Present in different collections in Spain, Colombia, Mexico, United States, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal and Belgium.
