Jordi Artigas
Jordi Artigas, born in Zaragoza in 1963, is an internationally recognized artist whose works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows. His career is characterized by constant research into the use of natural and earthy pigments, as well as an artistic evolution that is now in full creative maturity.
In his most recent series of paintings, Artigas explores the expressive potential of materials such as coffee, dyes, acrylic pigments, oil, and other elements, resulting in abstract compositions of great visual impact. His paintings combine broad brushstrokes with textures, symbols, and intentional grooves, generating a harmony between dynamism and balance.
The influence of Informalism and Abstract Expressionism is palpable in his work, both in the gestural quality and in the chromatic treatment. With few strokes and the integration of various materials, he manages to convey depth, emotion, and a powerful visual presence.
Thanks to his participation in international fairs, Jordi Artigas's works are part of private collections in cities such as New York, Milan, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Hamburg, London, and Brussels, consolidating his global projection.
