In Black and White Circle (2016), Fernando Daza explores duality and harmony through a circular composition divided into two halves: a textured white and a smooth black. The work, made with paper glued on canvas, invites reflection on the relationship between opposites such as light and darkness, the tactile and the visual.

The circle, a symbol of wholeness and continuity, suggests that, despite differences, there is an inherent connection between the elements. The texture of the white contrasts with the flat surface of the black, generating a visual dialogue that changes according to the viewer's perspective.

Fernando Daza (Seville, 1979) holds a degree in Fine Arts and is a member of GIACEC. His work has been exhibited at fairs such as L.A. Art Show and Art Brussels, and is part of collections including the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje. Paper is the central axis of his artistic language, transformed into compositions of great visual strength through tearing, cutting, and fitting.
