Candela Muniozguren
Cotton Architecture
Cotton Architecture is an abstract sculpture by Candela Muniozguren that explores the relationship between empty and occupied space. The work presents a three-dimensional structure with intersecting and overlapping geometric forms, creating a visual dialogue between stability and dynamism. Its vibrant color palette —yellow, green, pink, blue, and purple— brings lightness and joy, challenging traditional notions of ceramics as a rigid medium.
Muniozguren, a graduate in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, investigates in her work the boundary between the geometric and the emotional. In this piece, the forms seem to float, suggesting a balance between structure and fluidity that invites multiple interpretations.
